This year marks 50 years of #BICSI conferences. Danny Huffman and Sean Kelly, RCDD represented Light Brigade by speaking in their masterclass "Help Close the Digital Divide - FTTx Outside Plant Design".
This masterclass focused on the proper design of FTTx point-to-point and point-to-multipoint passive optical networks (PON) with homerun, centralized, and distributed topologies. It highlighted the importance of customer take rate and density, and how they apply to your design. The masterclass also reviewed various network configurations, design benchmarks, and installation parameters for FTTx systems.
